KIM
Kim hails all the way from "Bacon Hollow" and is a true-blue native of Virginia. The past few years she has worked in Radio markets from Charlottesville to Harrisonburg.
Counting her husband, Kim has FOUR children that range from 3 to 44!!! As if that's not enough she has several Quarter horses which she occasionally barrel races and enjoys raising Jack Russells.
Kim's all time favorite is George Jones, and her fondest memory is her daughter sharing the stage with the Possum in 2000 when he last visited us at the convo center.

LES IRBY
By far the most popular specialty music program in the market, Les Irby's Bluegrass Show is a true Valley original. A Shenandoah County native, Les has lived many places but his heart has always been in the Valley.
The Bluegrass bug was planted early when as a kid Les enjoyed watching Reno and Smiley on television. It also helped that the woman who babysat him loved Bluegrass and listened to it constantly.
But his love of Bluegrass really came in the seventies when he attended Bluegrass festivals for the party, but learned to appreciate the music. This where the things he respects most about the music came into focus: the music’s history, honesty, and real emotions.
Les has hosted The Bluegrass Show on WSIG for over 15 years. You can listen to the The Bluegrass Show Saturdays 3pm-9pm.
You can also catch Les Irby:
Nights: Mon-Fri 7pm-12mid
The Gospel Show: Sunday 8:30am-12noon

RACE ASHLYN
Race doesn’t just like Country music, he LOVES it…from the Classics of the 50s and 60s through today’s “traditional” sounding Country. Race started working in radio at the age of 13 (which is probably why he has so much gray hair!) and loves living in the Valley having lived from Maine to Florida…Virginia is right in the middle and perfect!
